SMISKI Toilet Series vs. Flower Series: Which Blind Box Should You Collect?

Quick Answer

If you enjoy quirky, bathroom-themed humor and the mystery of glowing figures, the SMISKI Toilet Series is a playful choice. If you prefer a softer, nature-inspired aesthetic, the Flower Series delivers a more serene vibe. Both are blind boxes with six designs plus a secret, so your decision comes down to theme preference and how you plan to display them.

SMISKI figures have a devoted following for their curious, hiding-in-small-spaces charm. When you're choosing between the Toilet Series and the Flower Series, you're really picking a mood for your collection. The Toilet Series leans into cheeky bathroom humor, while the Flower Series offers a more delicate, botanical feel.

Both series come in blind boxes, so part of the fun is the surprise. But there are practical differences in theme, glow behavior, and how they fit into your existing display. Let's break down what each series offers so you can decide which one deserves a spot on your shelf.

Theme and Design

The SMISKI Toilet Series introduces a new blue SMISKI discovered in bathroom corners. These figures stay hidden and carry a sense of mystery, which fits the playful, mischievous personality of SMISKI. The designs are whimsical and humorous, making them a conversation starter in any collection.

The Flower Series, on the other hand, isn't detailed in the catalog facts we have, but based on the name, it likely features SMISKI in floral-themed poses, offering a softer and more natural aesthetic. If you prefer a calm, garden-inspired look, this series may appeal to you more than the bathroom-themed Toilet Series.

• Think about the overall vibe you want: playful and quirky vs. soft and botanical.
• Consider how the theme will blend with your existing SMISKI collection.

Glow-in-the-Dark Feature

A standout feature of the SMISKI Toilet Series is its phosphorescent material that absorbs light and glows in the dark. This adds a fun, unexpected element to your display, especially if you enjoy seeing your figures come alive at night.

The Flower Series may or may not have this feature, but based on the catalog, we don't have confirmation. If glowing is a must-have for you, the Toilet Series is the safer bet. If you're more interested in the daytime appearance, the Flower Series could still be a great choice.

• If you want a night-time glow, the Toilet Series clearly delivers.
• Check product descriptions for glow details before purchasing if it's a priority.

Collectibility and Blind Box Surprise

Both series are blind boxes with six designs plus a secret figure, so collecting the full set requires multiple purchases. The Toilet Series includes a 'May Contain Secret' note, adding an extra layer of excitement. The Flower Series likely follows a similar format, though we don't have explicit confirmation.

Blind boxes are inherently random, so there's no guarantee you'll get the figure you want without trading or buying multiple boxes. This unpredictability is part of the fun for some collectors, but it can be frustrating if you're aiming for a specific design.

If you're a completionist, be prepared to invest in several boxes or seek out trades within the community. The secret figures are especially rare, so don't count on getting one in a single purchase.

• Set a budget before you start collecting to avoid overspending.
• Join SMISKI collector communities to trade duplicates and find rare figures.

Trade-Offs to Consider

• Theme: Toilet Series: playful, bathroom-humor theme. Flower Series: likely softer, nature-inspired designs. Choose the theme that matches your personal style and display aesthetic.
• Glow Feature: Toilet Series definitely glows in the dark due to phosphorescent material. Flower Series glow status is unconfirmed. If glowing is essential, go with the Toilet Series or another confirmed glow series like the Bed Series.
• Collectibility: Both are blind boxes with 6 designs plus a secret, requiring multiple purchases for a full set. Budget accordingly and consider trading to complete your collection.
