HIPPERS Looking Back Series: What's Inside and How It Compares to Other HIPPERS Sets

Quick Answer

The HIPPERS Looking Back Series is a decorative figure set that attaches to your favorite items, but its exact lineup isn't fully disclosed. Compared to other HIPPERS sets like Mofusand and Harvest, it offers a unique aesthetic, though you'll need to consider the blind box element and the trade-offs in variety and theme.

HIPPERS are decorative figures that can be attached to your favorite items, and the Looking Back Series is one of the newest additions to this popular lineup. But with several HIPPERS sets available, you might wonder how it compares to others like Mofusand or Harvest. This guide breaks down what's inside the Looking Back Series and helps you decide which set fits your collection best.

We'll explore the key differences between the HIPPERS Looking Back Series and other HIPPERS blind boxes, focusing on themes, design, and the collectible experience. Whether you're a seasoned collector or new to HIPPERS, this comparison will help you make an informed choice.

What Is the HIPPERS Looking Back Series?

The HIPPERS Looking Back Series is a blind box collection featuring Sonny Angel in an adorable climbing pose, looking back over their shoulder. Like other HIPPERS, these figures come with reusable adhesive, allowing you to attach them to laptops, desks, phones, and more. The exact number of figures in this series isn't specified, but based on typical HIPPERS releases, you can expect a variety of designs with different headgear or themes.

The 'Looking Back' design is a departure from the standard HIPPERS pose, adding a dynamic element to your display. This series is part of the broader HIPPERS lineup, which includes popular sets like Mofusand and Harvest. The blind box format means you won't know which figure you'll get until you open it, adding a fun surprise element to the collection.

• Check the box for the complete list of figures and any secret variants.
• Consider buying a full box if you want to collect all designs without duplicates.

HIPPERS Looking Back vs. Mofusand: Which Is Right for You?

The HIPPERS Mofusand set features characters from the social media sensation 'mofusand' dressed as sea creatures, including the fan-favorite Shark Meow. These figures are perfect for fans of the mofusand franchise who want to add a playful, character-driven touch to their belongings. The Looking Back Series, on the other hand, focuses on Sonny Angel's classic charm with a unique pose, appealing to traditional Sonny Angel collectors.

When choosing between the two, consider your attachment style: if you love specific characters and want a themed set, Mofusand offers more personality. If you prefer the classic Sonny Angel aesthetic with a twist, the Looking Back Series might be more your style. Both are blind boxes, so the surprise factor is equally present.

• Mofusand is ideal for fans of the mofusand characters and sea creature themes.
• Looking Back Series suits those who appreciate Sonny Angel's classic design with a modern pose.

Comparing HIPPERS Series: Harvest, Funbarus, and More

The HIPPERS Harvest Series features Sonny Angel wearing colorful fruit and veggie headgear, climbing upwards in an adorable position. This set is perfect for those who love a nature-inspired theme and the traditional Sonny Angel look. In contrast, the HIPPERS Funbarus (Posture Pal) series transforms the plush companions known for supporting slouching posture into decorative minifigures, offering a unique blend of function and decoration.

Each HIPPERS series has its own distinct theme and design philosophy. Harvest focuses on seasonal produce, Funbarus on a playful take on posture support, and Looking Back on a dynamic pose. Your choice depends on what resonates most with you: the freshness of Harvest, the whimsy of Funbarus, or the classic charm of Looking Back.

• Harvest Series is great for fans of fruit and veggie motifs.
• Funbarus offers a unique desk buddy option with a built-in base.
• Looking Back Series provides a fresh take on the classic Sonny Angel figure.

Trade-Offs to Consider

• Character Appeal: Mofusand offers recognizable characters from a social media sensation, while Looking Back Series focuses on Sonny Angel's classic charm. Choose Mofusand for character-driven fun, Looking Back for classic appeal.
• Theme Variety: Harvest Series brings a fruit and veggie theme, Funbarus a playful posture-support theme, and Looking Back a dynamic pose. Pick Harvest for nature, Funbarus for desk functionality, Looking Back for a fresh pose.
• Blind Box Surprise: All HIPPERS sets are blind boxes, meaning you won't know which figure you'll get until you open it. Embrace the surprise or buy a full box to complete your collection.
